Join Our Team as a Senior Data Scientist / ML Engineer at Omny – Pioneering Cybersecurity for Operational Technology
We are looking for experienced Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to join Omny’s product teams. Data and AI forms the foundation of Omny: successful candidates will have an important role in shaping our products and offerings. As a DS/MLE you will be involved in all steps of the product life cycle: from ideation, experimentation and validation to deployment and operations.

Responsibilities
- Develop the models and algorithms that power Omny’s solutions in the OT / Cyber Security domain. We trust you to identify the best approach based on project needs and timelines.
- Develop, deploy and maintain backend services that support machine learning and data processing applications, ensuring they are secure, reliable, scalable, and performant.
- Work together with Product Managers to gather customer requirements and shape data-driven solutions.
- Monitor the performance and reliability of deployed services and conduct regular maintenance and updates. Take part in on-call rotation during normal working hours.
- Stay updated with the advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Experiment with new algorithms, tools, and techniques to continuously improve our products and processes.
- Be a champion for Data Science in Omny. Educate colleagues and customers in the opportunities surrounding AI/ML. Proactively identify new use cases and opportunities in line with our product strategy.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- A track record of building AI/ML solutions in a customer-facing environment. A strong candidate should demonstrate expertise in NLP, Graph ML, MLOps, LLMOps, Solution Architecture or other relevant specializations.
- Experience programming in Python with a good understanding of the package ecosystem for data science and web services.
- Knowledge of software development best practices including version control (e.g., Git), agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for deploying and managing services.
- A background in cyber security, threat intelligence or related domains is a bonus but not required.
